Our friends at Chinook Wind in Everson, WA (chinookwind.net) have finished their studio project, in which they've featured some gorgeous, as-is timbers in their contemporary design.

New in the Northwest:
Duluth Timber opens lumber yard in Seattle
Duluth Timber now occupies a small, prime spot on Seattle’s thriving waterfront. Our modest office is housed in a re-purposed, 8' x 20' shipping container. Large timbers fill the surrounding 'acreage' and we can promptly fill custom orders at our sawmill one hour north in Edison.
Inside, we show off some of our favorite interior surfaces as flooring and paneling. The office will be solar powered, to bring its energy footprint in line with its physical one.
