Duluth Timber visits and bids on deconstruction projects throughout this country and occasionally in Canada. We are always looking for reclaimed wood that meets our standards. We monitor the dismantling of old structures, sometimes managing the job ourselves.

We love seeing these often-skeletal, under appreciated buildings before they come down.

And sometimes, the coming down part is pretty exciting, too.

(Later, we get to see the process reversed as our favorite builders hoist our timbers into new positions.)
